The Hengshui Yingli New Energy Co was established in April 1, 2011 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Yingli Group, with registered capital of 250 million yuan ($39.3 million) and it has grown over the years to more than 1,300 employees now, with an average age of 24.
By 2014, its sales reached 1.15 billion yuan and exports were worth $61.1 million, a strong driving force for its economic and social development, and, by the beginning of 2015, its asset reached 1.74 billion yuan.
Its development strategy is “pursue politics, prevent risks, build brands, and boost development” and it has its own distinct features in operations, R&D, technology innovation, marketing, reputation and enterprise culture and describes itself as a low-carbon, environmentally friendly enterprise “generating affordable green power for the masses”.
It has actively participated in social activities with social responsibility and has donated 2.6 million yuan to disaster areas, cultural education, and sports, for example, its 2013 Hengshui Lake International Marathon sponsorship, and has taken part in civilian-military support activities and helped a large number of demobilized soldiers deal with their problems.
Its declared goal is to seek development through quality and the rapid change and improvement of enterprises through innovation, with an average transformation rate of polycrystalline silicon solar-energy batteries of 18 percent, putting it in the lead domestically. It continues its technological innovations and has applied for 180 patents, with 152 a approved and has had 420 innovative saving projects, bringing economic benefits of more than 75 million yuan.
